image 146 – 13 June 2017 – Collage college

A few pieces from collage college. The golden image (using the same photograph of my mum I painted in Drawing #50) is an interesting process. Acrylic paint is applied to a ground paper (could also be wood), then a laser print or photocopy is stuck to it, face down in the paint. As the acrylic dries it draws the toner out. Once dry, wet the top sheet and rub it off to reveal the image.
